Understanding God's Will for Your Life

This question is really phrased incorrectly. What we are really asking here is: "What is God's future for me?" In order to help get a handle on proactive ways to sense God's future for your life, we can look into scripture and employ some practical guides God has given to us. But before we look further, know that you are not alone. This is some of the most common ground most of us will cover. Finding God's future should not be a heavy burden. He is not the kind of God that just waits for you to make a mistake. He is always working to guide us because we are His choice for causing world change.

 

Think of this:

 

Jesus was in heaven before he came to earth to redeem His creation. When He arrived He identified with His creation: people. He was born, grew up, and placed himself under the authority of a father and mother. He grew up and most likely learned several languages. He knew how his culture worked. He knew whose buttons He could push and whose He could not. Think about this: He took 30 years to learn, observe, and then He made His move.

Now, being the son of God, He knew His mission. He could have employed any method for reaching the world. He could have walked up the Mount of Olives, had the angelic chorus open with a great worship song, and He could have done some fancy miracle so that everyone could see him, preach a great sermon, and everyone on earth would have been saved.
